  • Tour day! Let's experience SUP activity ♪

    01 | Meeting/Reception/Preparation
    Please gather at the venue reception 15 minutes before the tour starts.
    ※If you use the pick-up service, we will pick you up 30 minutes before the start time.
    After filling out the application form at the reception tent, walk to the SUP venue while enjoying the great outdoors (about 3 minutes).
    Dry suits, marine boots, life jackets, etc. will be provided at the venue. Please change clothes by yourself.
    02 | Tour start paddle lecture
    We will explain the lake surface and give a paddle lecture. We will actually demonstrate using the board, so let's practice while moving together!
    03 | Departing for the lake
    It's finally time to set out on the lake!There are so many ways to enjoy SUP! Enjoy your special time at Daisetsu Dam♪

Caution on participating

●Conditions of participation
Regarding number of participants and age restrictions
・Minimum 1 person, maximum 8 people（For elementary school students and above）
※Even if you are completely new to SUP or are not good at swimming, you can participate. ※For children under elementary school age, the weight that can be loaded on a SUP board is approximately 100 kg, so it is possible for children to ride on one SUP together with an adult. In that case, the child traveling with you will be free of charge.
●About the gathering spot
We will pick you up from each hotel in Sounkyo Onsen town to the Taisetsu Dam SUP venue.
If you are coming by your own car or rental car, please park your car in the dedicated parking lot in front of Taisetsu Plaza 273 (depending on the situation, the parking lot inside the Daisetsu Plaza 273 Snow Removal Station), and then come to the SUP reception.

●About insurance
We have liability insurance and accident insurance for participants in the event of an accident.
We will not be held responsible for any damage or injury that exceeds the scope of coverage of this insurance, so for accident insurance, please purchase Domestic Travel Insurance or Inbound Travel Insurance for foreign travelers. Recommended.
●About clothes and belongings
Dry suits, marine boots, and life jackets are available on site.（Included in experience fee）
〈About dry suit innerwear〉
You can choose an inner layer from everyday wear! We recommend materials that dry quickly.
Wear it with a long-sleeved shirt, jersey, pants, and socks. Short-sleeved shirts are possible if the land is very hot, but long-sleeved shirts are generally recommended as they won't make you feel sticky. The best material for the shirt is polyester if possible! Innerwear for mountain climbing and undershirts for skiing are also suitable.
〈About shoes〉
We will move on the gravel road in the mountains to the surface of Taisetsu Dam Lake. Avoid wearing high heels or sandals, and wear sports shoes that are easy to move in. During this period, the water becomes cold, and the wet skin is exposed to the wind, making it easier for the body temperature to drop. If you have a tight-fitting athletic shoe, it will be easier to avoid such winds.
〈outer jacket, windbreaker〉
The wind blows your wet body, making it easier for your body temperature to drop. Depending on the weather, it may feel chilly, so it will be more comfortable to bring a windbreaker that is as thin as possible.
〈band for preventing glasses〉
If you fall into the water, your glasses or sunglasses may come off and sink into the water. It is impossible to dive into very deep water, so if you wear glasses or sunglasses, please be sure to prepare a band.
〈Meals, drinks, sunscreen〉
Because you sweat a lot and are exposed to the sun a lot, you may become dehydrated without realizing it. Please bring hydration and suntan cream. Meals are not included unless you have an individual plan, so please prepare and prepare them yourself.

If canceled due to customer's convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged.
